The People of PYHIT
Every Organization has a Story
More importantly, every organization is made up of people with their own experiences, talents, and reasons for doing the work they do. The People of PYHIT highlights the individuals whose dedication, compassion, and expertise help support the people and communities we serve every day.
Through these staff profiles, you’ll meet the people behind the programs, services, and mission of Peter Young Housing, Industries & Treatment, and learn what inspires them to do this important work.
Each month we'll introduce another member of the PYHIT team.
Introducing the People of PYHIT
Keneth Babineau
PYHIT Property Service & Maintenance

What do you do at PYHIT?
I support PYHIT Property Services and Maintenance and assist wherever I’m needed.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy the daily contact with my fellow employees and the clients I see throughout my work. It brings me pleasure knowing I can add a little friendship to those going through our programs and help in any way I can to make their lives better.
What makes PYHIT different?
What makes PYHIT different to me is seeing people in need find new ways to deal with the issues that brought them here, develop new ways of coping with their challenges, and work toward making their lives better.
Cassidy Harrington, CASAC 2-G
Outpatient Community Outreach Counselor

What do you do at PYHIT?
As an Outpatient Community Outreach Counselor with Baywood/PYHIT holding my CASAC 2-G and a B.S. in Applied Psychology. My work centers on bridging the gap in care for individuals across Warren, Washington, and Essex counties who can't access traditional, office-based treatment services—including direct outreach and support within local school districts throughout the school year.
To further deepen my clinical practice and systemic advocacy work, I am currently earning my MSW through Binghamton University's 2026 cohort.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about this field is meeting people exactly where they are and partnering with them to break down the physical, social, and personal barriers in their way.
What makes PYHIT different?
They provide incredible leadership, offer the flexibility I need to pursue continuing education, and genuinely support me in reaching both my personal and professional goals.
