What is Community Outreach?
The Community Outreach Program was developed in 2018 to help individuals overcome barriers to treatment. Counselors meet individuals exactly where they are. Their home, homeless shelters, at a park, library, or anywhere else where they feel comfortable. Individuals who experience barriers like child care, transportation, mental health, physical limitations, trauma, or any other barriers, may benefit from our outreach services. We cover Warren, Washington, Saratoga, Hamilton, and Essex County.
The Outreach Program provides individuals with a primary counselor and a CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate) to support them on their recovery journey.
Whether you are ready to jump into recovery, just want to talk to someone about decreasing use, harm reduction tools and techniques, or are a family member who has a loved one struggling, our staff is here to help.
