New and Exciting in PYHIT!
Living the Mission Program Launch

Introducing "Living the Mission" Program

We’re excited to introduce a new staff recognition program: Living the Mission.

This isn’t about clock-punching or doing the minimum. It’s about the people who go the extra mile, support their coworkers, care deeply about those we serve, and choose to do the right thing because it matters.

Know someone who embodies our mission in the way they work and care for others? Nominate them and help us recognize their impact.
PYHIT Latham Offices 2025 Holiday Party
The Latham PYHIT team gathered to celebrate the holiday season with an afternoon centered on connection, creativity, and community. The space was filled with conversation, laughter, and the simple joy of spending time together outside of the usual routine.
Staff and program participants came together to decorate the holiday tree, create handmade ornaments, and share food around the table. From quiet moments of crafting to lively group conversations, the gathering reflected the welcoming, inclusive spirit that defines PYHIT’s work every day.
The celebration offered a chance to pause, reflect on the year behind us, and enjoy the company of colleagues and community members alike. More than decorations or treats, the day was about presence, showing up for one another, sharing smiles, and strengthening the relationships that are at the heart of everything we do.
As the year draws to a close, gatherings like this remind us that community is built not only through services and programs, but through moments of kindness, creativity, and shared experience. We look ahead to the new year with gratitude and renewed commitment to the people we serve and one another.

PYHIT Latham Offices Open House
On June 18, 2025, PYHIT celebrated a major milestone with the grand opening of its new corporate headquarters at 950 New Loudon Rd., Suite 220, Latham, NY. The Corporate Offices Open House welcomed staff, partners, and community stakeholders to explore the new administrative hub that now anchors PYHIT’s statewide network of programs in housing, treatment, and workforce development.
The event showcased how the new space reflects PYHIT’s growth and commitment to professionalism, transparency, and community connection. Attendees toured offices, met with leadership and staff from multiple divisions, and learned about PYHIT’s expanding initiatives—including new compliance efforts, outreach campaigns, and ongoing partnerships with organizations like Fidelis Care.
Photography, video, and social coverage captured the day, highlighting both the energy of the move and the sense of unity among staff and partners. The Open House also previewed upcoming PYHIT initiatives such as Corporate Compliance Week, the T-Shirt Donation Drive, and the continued modernization of PYHIT.org.
The new headquarters stands as more than an office—it represents PYHIT’s continued evolution as a community leader providing housing, treatment, and opportunity for those rebuilding their lives across New York State.

Making Memories through Games and Laughter
PYHIT is dedicated to providing kids with the opportunity to play and connect with others. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our team at Schuyler Inn for 16-20 hours a week. We believe that play is essential for children's growth and development, and we would love to have you on board to help make a difference. Contact us today if you would like to volunteer!
