For more than two decades, the Peter G. Young Foundation Gala has brought together supporters, community partners, and friends to celebrate the mission of Peter G. Young Housing, Industries & Treatment (PYHIT).
As the Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event, the Gala helps provide resources that strengthen treatment, recovery, housing, and supportive services for individuals and families across the communities we serve. Every Patron, sponsor, and donation helps expand opportunities for people working to build healthier, more stable lives.

On Monday evening, July 13, PYHIT welcomed friends, supporters, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and community partners to Saratoga National Golf Club for the 2026 Helping Hands Hoedown. The annual Gala brought together individuals from across the Capital Region and beyond for an evening of country music, great food, generosity, and a shared commitment to PYHIT’s mission of providing people with the help they need for housing, treatment, recovery support, and hope. PYHIT provides a hand up, not a hand out.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed live music, dinner, and presentations highlighting the impact of PYHIT’s programs throughout New York State. Together, the evening celebrated the work being carried out across the organization and the vital role donor generosity plays in expanding services and creating opportunities for individuals and families to build brighter futures.
This year’s Gala welcomed more than 200 guests in support of PYHIT’s mission. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our generous sponsors, whose partnership helped make this special evening possible.
The Annual Gala is more than a fundraiser. It is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of a shared mission and a reminder that lasting change is possible when people invest in one another.
The generosity shown throughout the evening will help strengthen PYHIT’s housing, treatment, recovery, vocational, and supportive services, ensuring that individuals and families throughout our communities continue to receive the resources they need to build stable, healthy, and independent lives.
