How It Works

Each resident follows an individualized plan that may include counseling, skill building, and connection to community resources. The goal is to support steady progress toward independence, with clear expectations and consistent support.

Trust the Process

Recovery is a process of learning, understanding, and moving forward.

Participants at Troy Women’s Reintegration recently took part in a recovery-focused project designed to help them better understand addiction as a disease and explore what recovery can mean throughout their own process.

Activities like this provide an opportunity to look beyond substance use itself and consider the role that understanding, self-awareness, and continued recovery can play in moving forward. Recovery does not happen all at once. It is an ongoing process, built through individual steps, new understanding, and continued commitment.

The message behind the project was simple: Trust the Process.

For the women participating, that means continuing to learn about addiction, recognizing their own progress, and moving forward through each stage of recovery one step at a time.
